Oh god i like the look of this!

It appears to work well although could there be a hit on the phone? Latency?

I'm sure Oculus and Samsung will have been looking in to something similar 😄

Hah cool, they are using a Project Tango tablet on the back to do slam-based position tracking.
Very clever !!
And much better ergonomics than trying to strap a Tango to your face with a durovis 7 (I can tell you from experience).

That would be one expensive VR kit 🙂 £400 for the phone, £150 for the GearVR and £400 for the project tango tablet (nearly 1k) 🙂
