At least it's 2 slot design, but 3 fans indicate a great need to get rid of heat...

Not bad but they need to get rid of those ugly big Rs.

This design also makes me worry about heat.

Compare to 3080 that require a WHOLE NEW DESIGN for cooling with front nad back with a full metal design - it doesnt look that bad. Or consider the 3090 requires 3 slots for cooling as well.

To me this look normal as far as moving heat around. With that said - I am more worried if they will be able to hit the same level as the 3080 though. RT games / software still a little long ways out so I am not as worried for the RT performance. Then again - all cards coming out will hit a real limit with 1080p gaming. Be ready to upgrade your monitors to at least 2k or 4k to make use of them.

As for me being worried if it will hit 3080 performance - it more in terms of I want to see AMD finally play some catch up in the video card department. I am not sure I would pick one up personally. I just like to see NV actually have something to fight and base off their reaction already - it seem like they were a little worried this time around so possible AMD does have something up their sleeves.

I have not yet seen any confirmed prices, but educated guesses say less than 3080, maybe about $550.

I don't this we'll find out till later next month (~28 Oct 2020).  It would be nice to see it be competitive with the 3080.
