Yes, it was mentioned a number of times - a good showing from Sony with over 14 titles, and the much priased Tetris VR title, and obvious the announcements about PC VR titles such as Wolfenstien and the rest.

Also some reality set in about where VR fits in the thinking of the bigger publishers:

MS doing what ms do. If you can't make a good game of your own buy up all the Indies who do 😞

(Aka bye bye ninja theory I see it going same way as Rare after their purchase by  ms)
Fiat Coupe, gone. 350Z gone. Dirty nappies, no sleep & practical transport incoming. Thank goodness for VR 🙂

Funny how the enthusiasm for MS waned the closer to E3 this year and the knowledge that they had sidelined any involvement with VR after the promises with Project Scorpio - I suppose now they do not include their controls in the bundle, and MS has suspended selling CV1's at their stores we will see the real colour of the OVR networks support of MS!

I am disappointed ms are not supporting vr on the X1X but personally my lack of enthusiasm for ms has nothing to do with vr. After years of shoddy service with gfwl and the way windows 10 is riddled with adds and they fiddle with privacy / default settings on updates it would have to do a lot before I am enthusiastic about MS.  I will give them kudos for making cross purchase titles and making Xbox a platform so pc gamers get the console exclusives but that is about the only positive for me.

As one poster recently quipped: "...maybe its a good thing MS is not tainting consumer VR!"

Last I checked, Microsoft is very much involved in consumer VR, with multiple products (e.g. Samsung Odyssey).
